Senior Night and our Friday Game!
Good evening,
At this point I am having to resort solely on remind as CutTime is failing us as a communication device. I am looking into alternatives and have been working on getting as many people on the remind as possible to relay information. Below is information regarding this Friday’s Game and Senior Night Festivities.
Students will be performing in full uniform Friday which will include their Dry-fit shirt, camelback, black socks and shoes (to be distributed). All other uniform parts are stored here on campus. We will have a pep rally on Friday between 2nd and 3rd period. Students will wear their dry-fit shirt with shorts/pants and shoes of their choosing.
Senior Night Information:
This year we will be first on the list. For this reason, we will forego our pre-game rehearsal to leave enough time to feed students (Seniors eat first!) and get the Seniors and their parents in line for the event. Senior Parents will need to meet their student at 5:40pm on the track. You may enter via the scoreboard entrance. Mr. Palmer and Mr. Yates will be there to assist you in lining up in script order. The event will begin officially at 6PM (earlier if we’re ready), and kickoff is at 7pm. Senior students / Senior Parents will need to fill out the google form linked below. This needs to be filled out BEFORE 11am tomorrow so I can send our script to the announcer. It will take about a minute to complete. Don’t worry about filling out the form a second time if your student may already have submitted it. We will go with the parent’s submission :).

Halftime:
Our halftime show will include dance team, a color guard feature, and the first movement of our 2021 Production: UNSUSTAINABLE. This will be the premier!
Post-Game:
Kick-off is at 7pm. Our games tend to run about two and a half hours to three hours. At the end of the game, students will march to the band hall together to be dismissed. I will have students notify parents/rides when the game has concluded so they can make their way to pick them up. Once we arrive at the band hall, the Band Staff will keep the Band Hall open for plenty of time for students to put away their instruments and will then lock up. This usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour after we reach the Band Hall. Please have your students picked up by lockup time.
Thank you for bearing with us during our struggle with communication platforms. We have had over a hundred new sign ups to this remind this week trying to recruit users for effective communication.
Thank you, and have a great rest of your week! See you on game day!
