Good evening,
By now, most if not everyone has received an email from Mr. Wahl about a scheduled power outage for SVHS on Tuesday morning from 8-10am. We will still be rehearsing at our scheduled time since we will be out of the building from 7am-11am. We do have a different schedule this week with another evening block of rehearsal, our meet the Meet the Band performance on Thursday evening at 6:30pm, and our pictures and pool party on Friday!
While all that excitement is on its' way, we do have an unfortunate alteration to make to tomorrow's schedule. Unfortunately, due to us not being able to provide enough instructors during our afternoon Professional Development, we will not be holding our afternoon block tomorrow. We will maintain the 7am-11am schedule, but will dismiss students at 11am for the day. If you need your student to stay on campus, they will be welcome to remain in the band hall until they can be picked up or find transportation. This should be the last schedule alteration we make for Summer Band. I apologize for any inconvenience, and the last minute notice. Please let us know if we can help in any way.
I do look forward to our events this weekend, and I can't wait to share what we have been working on with our community at Meet the Band!
